Solutions

Fourteen solution areas. One engineered architecture.

Fortue Technologies does not simply supply devices. Every solution combines engineering, integration, technology selection, deployment and support, so each system works on its own and as part of one connected environment.

01 / 14

Smart Buildings

One engineered architecture for the whole building.

How Fortue delivers it

Fortue defines the system architecture first: which systems connect, which protocols they use and where control and data live. We then select the technologies, document every interface and remain accountable through commissioning and support.

Office corridor with glass walls in a commercial building

What it is

Intelligent control and automation for entire buildings, integrating lighting, HVAC, occupancy, access, energy and other building systems into one coordinated architecture instead of separate packages.

Why it matters

Integrated buildings are easier to operate, simpler to support and more efficient to run. Owners and facility teams get one source of truth for how the building performs.

Home Automation

Residences that respond to the people who live in them.

How Fortue delivers it

We design around the household’s routines, plan the network first and choose wired, wireless or hybrid architecture for the building and budget. Design, programming, commissioning, handover documentation and support come from one team.

Contemporary residence at night

What it is

Integrated residential automation covering lighting, climate, curtains, security, scenes, access and connected devices, controlled through keypads, touch panels, mobile apps and voice.

Why it matters

A well engineered home system disappears into daily life: fewer switches, consistent scenes, dependable security and a network that keeps everything connected.

Commercial Automation

Technology systems for workplaces and business environments.

How Fortue delivers it

Fortue maps how each space is used, integrates building services on open protocols and segments the network so automation, security and business IT stay separate. Every system is documented so facility teams can operate and extend it.

Office corridor with glass walls in a commercial building

What it is

Automation and technology systems for offices, retail and other commercial spaces: lighting, climate, access, meeting spaces and building services controlled through one coordinated layer.

Why it matters

Commercial buildings run long hours with many users. Automation that follows occupancy and schedules keeps spaces comfortable, simplifies operations and shows managers how the building is actually used.

Applications

Hospitality Technology

Connected guest experiences with operational visibility.

How Fortue delivers it

We standardise the room architecture, integrate lighting and climate with occupancy, design separate guest and operational networks and give operations teams a clear view of room status and faults.

Hotel guest room with integrated lighting

What it is

Connected technology for hotels, serviced apartments and hospitality environments, including guest room controls, climate, lighting, guest experience systems and operational monitoring.

Why it matters

Every room has to work perfectly for every guest. Consistent room controls, occupancy aware climate and visibility for operations teams protect the guest experience and reduce waste in unoccupied rooms.

Building Automation

Control and supervision for building services.

How Fortue delivers it

Fortue integrates plant and field devices over open protocols, defines alarm and schedule logic with the operator, and documents points lists and interfaces so the system can be maintained and expanded.

Electrical transmission infrastructure at dusk

What it is

Integration of building systems and automation technologies, bringing HVAC, ventilation, pumps, lighting and metering into a supervisory layer with schedules, alarms and trends.

Why it matters

Mechanical and electrical services represent most of a building’s running cost. Supervising them properly improves comfort, reduces waste and makes faults visible early.

Applications

Typical technologies

06 / 14

Lighting Control

Light as an engineered, controllable system.

How Fortue delivers it

We plan control zones, scenes and sensor logic alongside the lighting design, select the control protocol for the fixtures and integrate lighting with shading, climate and occupancy.

Modular white contemporary architecture

What it is

Intelligent lighting systems incorporating automation, scheduling, scenes, presence and daylight sensing, tunable white and professional lighting control technologies for interiors, façades and landscapes.

Why it matters

Lighting shapes how a space feels and is one of the largest controllable loads in a building. Good control improves experience and reduces energy at the same time.

Applications

Typical technologies

07 / 14

HVAC Control

Smart climate control with energy awareness.

How Fortue delivers it

Fortue integrates HVAC equipment through manufacturer interfaces or open protocols, links climate to occupancy and scenes, and gives users simple control while operators keep supervisory oversight.

Control hardware and wiring detail

What it is

Smart climate control covering thermostat integration, VRF, FCU and AHU control, scheduling, occupancy logic and energy conscious HVAC management.

Why it matters

Cooling is often the largest energy load in a building, particularly in Gulf climates. Climate control that follows occupancy and schedules keeps people comfortable without conditioning empty spaces.

Applications

Networking & Digital Infrastructure

The infrastructure every other system depends on.

How Fortue delivers it

We design the network before the devices: cabling routes, rack layouts, switching and PoE budgets, Wi-Fi coverage and access point placement, VLANs and traffic priorities. The network is then configured, tested and documented.

Network patch panel with structured cabling

What it is

Enterprise networking, structured connectivity, wireless infrastructure and network architecture: cabling, racks, managed switching, PoE, Wi-Fi planning and segmented networks for buildings where every system is connected.

Why it matters

Automation, security, AV and people all rely on the same network. Designing it with capacity, segmentation and monitoring prevents most operational problems.

Applications

Typical technologies

09 / 14

Cybersecurity

Security focused design for connected environments.

How Fortue delivers it

Fortue applies security by design within its integration work: isolated networks for IoT and building systems, least privilege access, documented credentials handed over to the owner and a firmware update plan. This is security practice within integration projects, not a certified cybersecurity audit service.

Close view of a circuit board

What it is

Security focused infrastructure and technology practices that protect connected environments, building systems and digital assets: network segmentation, access policies, credential management and firmware hygiene.

Why it matters

Every connected device adds to the attack surface. Building systems that share a flat network with business and guest traffic expose the whole environment.

Applications

Typical technologies

10 / 14

Security Systems

Protection engineered into the building fabric.

How Fortue delivers it

We plan camera coverage, door and access logic, power and network capacity together, then link security events to lighting and automation where useful, as in Fortue’s KNX outdoor lighting and security design.

Curved architectural facade

What it is

Integrated CCTV, access control, video intercom, intrusion detection and gate automation, connected to the network and the building’s control layer.

Why it matters

Security systems are only as reliable as the infrastructure and integration behind them. Designed together, they respond faster and are simpler to manage.

Applications

Typical technologies

11 / 14

Energy Intelligence

Measure, understand and reduce consumption.

How Fortue delivers it

Fortue places metering at the points that matter, brings meter and plant data into dashboards and alarms, and connects energy data to automation so schedules and setpoints can act on it.

Wind turbines at sunset — energy infrastructure

What it is

Energy monitoring, control, visibility and optimisation across connected environments: sub metering, consumption dashboards, HVAC optimisation, load scheduling and monitoring of solar and generator systems.

Why it matters

What is measured can be managed. Metering and monitoring give owners the data to lower running costs and report on sustainability goals.

Applications

Typical technologies

12 / 14

AV, Displays & Digital Interfaces

Audio visual experiences and interfaces with simple control.

How Fortue delivers it

We specify displays, sources, distribution and control as one system, integrate them with lighting and shading scenes and design interfaces that make everyday use simple.

Open plan commercial workspace

What it is

Professional displays, interactive interfaces and technology driven visual systems: home cinema, multi room audio, meeting room systems, video walls, digital signage, touch panels and AV over IP distribution.

Why it matters

AV succeeds when it is effortless to use. Engineering acoustics, distribution and control together removes the complexity users would otherwise face.

Applications

Typical technologies

13 / 14

Technology Integration

Many protocols and vendors, one working environment.

How Fortue delivers it

Fortue documents every interface between systems, chooses gateways and platforms that keep critical control local, and tests integrated behaviour end to end before handover. Existing installations are assessed before we recommend integrating, extending or replacing them.

Technician working on electronic hardware

What it is

Integration across multiple protocols, vendors and systems so that technologies work together as one environment: sensors, gateways, controllers and platforms that share data, trigger automation and report to dashboards.

Why it matters

Most environments contain equipment from many manufacturers. Without integration, each system needs its own app, its own support and its own workarounds.

Applications

Typical technologies

14 / 14

Technology Sourcing

Engineering led selection, from specification to supplied product.

How Fortue delivers it

Products are selected against the project architecture, not a catalogue. We evaluate samples for compatibility and quality, manage specifications and coordinate supply. Fortue does not own manufacturing facilities.

High bay warehouse aisle with organised inventory

What it is

Engineering led sourcing and evaluation of suitable technology products and components for projects and deployments, including OEM, ODM and private label programmes, assessing manufacturers for each product.

Why it matters

Sourcing with engineering oversight reduces risk: products are evaluated for compatibility, compliance and quality before they reach a project or a shelf.

Applications

Typical technologies

Why integrate

Systems designed together perform better.

When lighting, climate, security, networking and AV are specified by one team on one architecture, there are fewer interfaces to fail, one point of accountability, a consistent user experience and far simpler support over the life of the building. That is the value Fortue adds: engineering, integration, technology selection, deployment and support, not the sale of individual devices. See the industries we design for, the technologies we work with and selected projects.
